Yesterday we offered 4 tips to taming your oily skin. This frustrating condition can be tackled in part with skincare products. But there are some lifestyle changes you can make to improve excess oil production.
- Drink plenty of water. Oily skin is the result of improperly balanced moisture. Staying hydrated by drinking lots of water helps your skin and increases the skin’s ability to restore its normal moisture levels.
- Change your diet. If your oily skin is excessive, you may want to monitor the foods you eat that are loaded with oil and sugar. They only make your skin produce more oil - eat more veggies and fruits!
- Keep blotting papers close by. Powder and foundation only make things worse when your have oily skin. Keep a pack of blotting papers with your make-up to blot away when the oil shines through.
