You workout. It is important to you. Keeping your body healthy and active is an integral part of your day. Sometimes this can make it hard to make your skincare routine just as much of a priority as your exercise routine. Making time in the day for one is hard enough, let alone two. You know your skincare routine is important, so how can you do both?
It's not easy, but it can be done.
Whether you work out in the morning or the evening. If your workout is at lunch or after dinner. It can be challenging to fit it into your day while the rest of life swirls around you. Add in a skincare routine and it can be downright daunting, but what if you think about them as your healthcare routine and look at them as a package deal?
Your healthcare routine can become a holistic approach to your health both inside and out and it can be done in just a little over an hour. Let's figure out the schedule.
For the purposes of this exercise we're going to assume you like to workout in the morning and you have to be to work at 8:15a. Your wake-up call is 5:15a and you have an hour to get the kids off to school. So now you have two hours to get your healthcare routine in AND get dressed and off to work.
5:15a - 5:55a: Exercise
5:55a - 6:05a: Shower
6:05a - 6:20a: Skincare routine
6:20a - 6:45a: Get dressed
6:45a - 7:45a: Get the kids ready for school
7:45a - 8:15a: Commute to work
Now we know that on paper this looks like an easy thing to do, but it can be challenging in the moment. The key is to slow down, not speed up. It may sound counter-intuitive, but slowing down and taking each step of your plan as it comes is the best and most efficient way to get everything you need to get done all in.
You can do this same exercise if you like to workout at lunch or in the evening. Make time for health in all forms and you will be a happier, more well adjusted person who can tackle anything life throws at them.
