Things are getting spoooooooky around here as we prepare for All Hallows Eve. With just a few days to go before Halloween is upon us, I wanted to take a minute and share a quick tip that I use to get my Halloween makeup off.
Removing makeup can really be a chore, but when you have this handy trick it can come off in a snap. Of course it still depends on how much makeup you've used to get your perfect Halloween look. If you've caked it on and are going as a pure green Frankenstein, it might take a little elbow grease for it to all come off, trick or not. If you've gone as a cowgirl who just needed a little blush on her cheeks to make her seem authentic, it will be wiped away in no time.
Ok, on to the trick.
There are just a couple of steps to this trick:
- Start with warm water and a gentle face cleanser. Depending on how heavy your makeup is on, you'll want to also use a gentle face cloth to help wipe away the main layer of it.
- Pat dry with a towel.
- Moisturize and take care of any damaged skin with our Repair and Lift Anti-Wrinkle Serum. While this important last step may not be critical to removing your makeup it is a key step in avoiding any damage done by your Halloween attire.
That's it! It's quite simple. The reason to use the face cleanser and not just plain old soap is that the cleanser is actually specially formulated to lift the makeup off your skin and it won't dry out your skin like soap. If you use it regularly you already know how powerful it can be in wiping away dirt and makeup from your skin and now you can take extra care, even on the scariest of nights.
